Gracevile
Graceville – one of the largest cities in North America. A typical dystopian metropolis, it embodies stark class division: poverty and decay fester in the lower-tier Peg districts, while corporate skyscrapers and factory smokestacks loom above them like obsidian monoliths. Located in the ruins of what was once New Jersey, the city chokes under a perpetual shroud of smog and industrial stench.
Graceville was built on the bones of miners, though its surrounding coal seams have lain abandoned for forty years - sealed off by an unquenchable subterranean fire that still smolders in the depths.
The city is unofficially partitioned into districts, each controlled by distinct social castes and factions.
The Slums
The main population of the city lives here. This place fully lives up to its name - it's a dark slum, a jumble of floors where low-paid workers huddle. Among the establishments, bars, motels, and unauthorized market squares are common here, where pegasus exchange
goods or sell them for reals. Apart from ordinary workers, there are several factions located here. The "Dragon" gang runs the Chinese part of the district. The remaining floors are divided between three groups: Cyber Raiders, Jackals and Neviah Army.
Local factions
Oh, Graceville…
Your lights don’t shine for us.
We’re strands of dust in a dead circuit’s trust.
Carry my voice through the wires and rust,
Maybe the net will remember… just… us
— The peg’s song
The Spires
The upper floors of the city are bright even at night. There are a lot of advertising signs, holograms and glowing windows. Quite wealthy people can afford to live in The Spires. Elite establishments, local headquarters of many corporations and housing complexes for best employees are located here. This zone belongs to corporations. Their drones can be found on every corner here, patrolling the streets to maintain order.

Dragons
The Dragons are the oldest and most structured organization in Graceville, born from pre-Fall Chinese diasporas.
They blend ancient rituals with cutting-edge tech: cybernetic upgrades, synthetic combat enhancers, and drone surveillance are part of their doctrine.
Territory & Influence
-
Chinatown Sector (“The Red Maze”)
-
black markets for cyber-implants

a network of tea houses that are, in truth, control hubs

An agressive pack of tech mutants, adrenaline addicts, and former mechanics. They weld their own bikes from junkyard metal, steal hardware from caravans, and live atop abandoned parking towers.
Territory & Influence
-
the highways of Sector G
-
rooftops of derelict parking complexes
-
underground bike arenas

The Jacals

Street kids, runaways, orphans, petty thieves — the Jackals gather those whom the world refused to see as people. They survive through small-time crime, cheap contract killings, and scavenging forgotten tech in the tunnels.
Territory & Influence
-
the Underground Paths
-
night markets
-
a wide-spread network of street “lookouts” — mostly children selling information

Neviah Private Army
Not native to the city — but undeniably powerful.
The Neviya Private Army is a corporate PMC officially hired to “stabilize Graceville,” but in reality, they pursue goals known only to their upper command.
